Computer Aided Drafting (CAD)

MCA has provided electronic drafting and plotting services for over 14 years. All drafting personnel are proficient in AutoCAD and have a minimum of 10 years experience within their respective fields. We provide drawing support ranging from preliminary military sketches to fully-conforming Level III drawings and are familiar with the following drawing standards and conventions: marine, piping, electrical, mechanical, structural, and civil.

Drawing Conversions
MCA also provides drawing conversions services -- converting original hand drawings into electronic drawings. This is accomplished by scanning original hand drawings and importing them into AutoCAD for vectorization. In addition to using the latest drawing conversion packages, we have developed many in house programs that facilitate cost-effective conversion.

AutoCAD Customization and Programming
MCA also develops custom AutoCAD application using AutoLISP and/or Visual Basic for Applications (VBA). We can develop a suite of AutoCAD routines that enable your drafting personnel to accomplish more is less time as well as complete drafting environments with advanced features such as entity extended data or links to external databases. Our DynaNET-G is one example of a customized AutoCAD application.
